dear uni,
katunia, 00:07h
recently I applied for an english course, because you force me to take english (or rather language) courses. in order to finish kulturwissenschaften i have to learn three languages, take part in a certain amount of oberstufenkurse and zertifikatskurse and finally i have to pass the unicert3-exam (fachsprache) in two of the chosen languages.
this will not be a problem whatsoever if you let me take the courses that I apply for. sweet'n'easy - right?
why is it, that you only provide places for 50 students if EVERY student of kulturwissenschaften needs to take two unicert3 exams and most of them - well I guess it must be most of them - want to take the exam in english?
so how do we go about it? I just apply again and again at the beginning of every semester? and then I extend my stay at the university until in three or four semesters it's up tp me to obtain one of those scarce places...
ahhh... liebreizende uni... why not invest some money in the sprachenzentrum (also liebreizend) and have courses done for 100 students? or even more? I must be dreaming...
